It was quite spectacular to witness. I actually was on my way out of Six Mile Cypress Slough when I decided to spent some more time at Ash Pond. After about 5 minutes the show started and first the turtle made its way out of the water and then to my delight the alligator shortly after. That one came out of left field ... glad I waited and hung around and followed my instincts (http://blog.juergenrothphotography.com/2011/12/trust-your-photographic-instincts.html) ... gotta come back soon with a longer lens though ... thanks for commenting! Btw, 5 alligator babies is quite the sight!!!!
