This is a peaceful place in a chaotic world. I love abstract whether there is a subject or just feelings of color. I changed my palette on this painting and kept to few colors. I use acrylic paints as they dry fast and are bright.

Beautiful painting - although it is abstract, it very much reminds me of a famous Canadian painting by Tom Thompson - "Lone Pine". This latter painting (in the impressionist style) helped bring Canadian art (Group of 7) to the eyes of the world.
