A few days back, I was wandering thru Nevada City, and I came to one of my Fave Schools in the area; a small, and beautiful campus of Forest Charter School. Well, Fall brings out the beauty in this campus, and I have seen a few of them over the years, since My wife has been an Educator over 30 years .Nurturing the Love of Learning through Personalized Education
Forest Charter School supports parents who choose to home school their children and believes that quality education can happen at home. Parents and students work side by side with a highly qualified, California Credentialed Supervising Teacher (ST) to develop a program that supports the interests, talents and goals of every child. Parents are actively involved in the education of their students. The Supervising Teacher provides guidance as needed in the areas of curriculum choice, personal learning styles, California content standards by grade level, and academic support. Parents and students meet with their ST regularly to receive support and review student learning. Various program options are provided by FCS to support home school families:
