the feet that walk under this dry soil are unaware of the insular silence of what lies beneath its echoes. it rests, feignedly, for eternities, like seeds of fire.
and then one day, with a pale moan, without tears or prophecy, what lies in the heart of the dry land recovers its breath. he awakens, transformed. and emerges, bringing all Hell with it.
