The afternoon sun highlights the ornate entrance to the Coral Gables Congregational Church and provides a pattern of shadows across the sidewalk leading to the door.
Coral Gables was envisioned by George Merrick to be the "Mediterranean Riviera" and draw the wealthy and prominent in the 1920's.
