While watching eagles fish on our lake, where we lived in Vero Beach, Florida years ago, I saw this fish zigzag swimming and leaping out of the water seemingly trying to avoid the eagle. But the eagle quickly switched gears and caught the fish in midair. It was a dramatic sight that I couldn’t capture with a camera, but it was indelibly etched on my memory. I digitally hand-painted this painting from memory for all to enjoy.
