Description
My fascination with dunes continues. We spent three days at Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve in southern Colorado. This image was captured during early morning hours when sun angle was low and we were alone on the dunes. I enjoy the contrast of angles as well as the contrast of light. This "extract" not only contains a range of tone, light, and texture, but it also can be boiled down to 5 distinct design elements or zones.
