Description
Sand dune contrasting with perfect blue sky at the Pinnacles.
The Pinnacles are limestone formations within Nambung National Park, near the town of Cervantes, Western Australia. The park is located roughly 200 kilometres north of Perth and covers an area of 17,487 hectares. Yellow desert sand and the weathered limestone rock spires create a fascinating landscape. Glimpses of the deep blue Indian Ocean, can be seen from various points and is indeed a close drive from the desert park. A sand track can be driven through the park with parking spots to explore further.
