Inspired by the Hellmouth (specifically, medieval art depicting the entrance to Hell), but with an urban twist, and an updated treatment more in keeping with today's concrete environments, our cities. Corruption, defacement, greed, decline of morals, etc., are all still around in abundance, if not more intensely so, in our own times. If the Last Judgement comes, what will it look like? Will a hole open up and beckon sinners to descend? This piece is not meant to be a religious statement, nor even religious art, just an exploration of a concept and how it may be envisaged.
