Description
A pot of leftover Creeping Jenny has been on my deck all summer, where it probably received more direct sun that it would like. As a result, it has looked a little pale and washed out; but, with the cooler nights of early autumn, the rather pallid yellow-green of the delicate little leaves has taken on a beautiful golden glow that I tried to capture for this image. I digitally isolated a single strand from the plant, and replaced the background with a solid color... a shade of red that I can best describe as "rosy brick;" then, added wispy touches of gold and a light layer of texture to finish the piece.
