There's a spot along the trail where I walk my dog in Virgin Lake area (right in Stoughton, WI) where I always pause - the huge towering trees, when you look straight up, look like they're all gathered in some important discussion. This image was taken the day after a snowstorm, with bright blue sky and frigid temperatures taking hold as a polar vortex settles in. Driving wind during the snow left the trunks snow-encrusted on their windward sides. Two other version are available - search "Convergence" to see them.
