Description
The Common grackle (Quiscalus quiscula) is a large North American icterid (Black Bird) that is found in large numbers. The males appear blach from a distance; but on closs approach are an irridescent brown on the body and a metallic irridescent blue on the head and neck. The females are smaller and skinnier and less colourful than the males.
