Description
One of my favorite guys to see on the streets of Chicago. You never know what he’s going to wear, but one thing is for certain, he stands out a country mile. Sometimes he can be found wearing his bright orange three-piece suit and other times red or green, but they’re always three-piece. The other thing he does is that he always has gold or silver rings on all fingers including thumbs. His beard is also unique in that it comes to a point on both sides and makes him look like a leprechaun. In short, I’ve never seen anyone on the streets of Chicago quite like him.
Today I spotted him wearing a blue jean three-piece suit, and he’s just lit up his cigar and blown the smoke from his mouth. This visual combined with the ephemeral sign (“What, Three Wishes Isn’t Enough”) just makes the photograph. I damn near tripped on myself to get this one.
All proceeds will be donated to Chicago's Cornerstone Community Outreach in honor of photographer Richard Cleis, 1965-2021.
