This piece is the result of blending two digitally manipulated photographs to represent a dreamlike state. The silhouetted cactus in super-saturated vivid colors is a Giant Saguaro - icon of the American west - very prolific where I live in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona. The cat is an abstract of a portrait of the very first British Shorthair cat to share my home - Panther - whose image is among the others in my collection of Domestic Animals.
