Carolina Wren

Description
This Carolina Wren lives in a wooded area in San Antonio, Texas. His cheerful songs can be heard through the dense brush while he forages for insects and fruit. Often loud scolding noises and aggressive movements are observed when defending his territory. In this photograph, the Carolina Wren's head cocks upward as his chunky feathered breast of feathers blows in the wind. Evident in this image is the long white eyebrow stripe, dark bill, and white chin and throat that the Carolina Wren is known for. Although small, this bird delights in his loud singing and quick movement among many backyards, forest ravines, and wooded areas. Wether seen or heard, the Carolina Wren brings a cheerful joy to our lives.

So tiny, yet full of spunk!
M E Wood replied:
Yes! And he can be very loud! (Which I'm thankful for or I would have never found him.)
