Description
The Alabama Hills are considered to be part of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. The area has been used as a backdrop for over 400 films since the early 1920's. Commercials are also filmed there regularly. The Alabama Hills cover 30,000 acres. The various rock formations are a photographers paradise and a hikers play land.
There is a bit of an eeriness to the landscape. Almost other worldly. Enjoy.
