Description
Bok Tower surrounded by low thin clouds. This 205 foot tall carillon tower was built in the 1920's on the Lake Wales Ridge, one of the highest points of the Florida peninsula. The carillon in Bok Tower consists of 60 bells and is still played daily. The tower is surrounded by a meandering historic landscape garden designed by the famous landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead, Jr., son of the designer of New York's Central Park.
