This is a smaller study of a larger (36" x 48") that I've not been able to finish. I got bogged down in all those tables and chairs. Working it through on a smaller scale has worked and sometime soon I'll finish the larger canvas.
This is a cafe in Naples, Florida. I couldn't stop looking at it and shot a bunch of photos. It's great subject matter for a black & white photo. But I had to paint it. I considered painting the umbrellas red or yellow but decided white really works best.
Painting is gallery-wrapped and wired, ready to hang. Add a frame or not.
