The wolf, or canine lupus, is the largest species in the canine family. It is no surprise that many schools and colleges have adopted the wolf as their mascot given that the wolf is known to be social and travel in packs, and the wolf is also a tough out to get.
Many schools and universities utilize an orange wolf mascot, such as Lourdes, Walla Walla and Oak Hills Christian College (OHCC). Lourdes University is called the grey wolves while OHCC is called the Wolfpack. Go Wolves! Since there is no crying in baseball, then no crying wolf either!
