Ballygally Babbling Brook.
In County Antrim, Northern Ireland is the seaside village of Ballygally. Along the seafront lies the famous Ballygally Castle Hotel, which boasts a haunted tower (that you can choose to stay in, if you dare!) and plays host to many a visitor on the Game of Thrones trail in the surrounding areas.
The castle also boasts of beautiful gardens and is perhaps the one of the reasons why many chose to host wedding receptions there too.
But just behind the old walls of the garden lies this peaceful babbling brook. The dense foliage provides enough shade to allow the little fish to dart around freely without much fear of predators. The brook encounters a slight drop before disappearing under a picturesque bridge and continuing its onward journey. Rather peaceful and tranquil and I recommend a visit if you’re in the area.
