Baby Seal Popping Up to Say Hi
A young brown fur seal, aka cape fur seal, hops up on a tourist boat, looking for a rest or a snack. Brown fur seals live mostly on fish. I saw quite a few baby seals on the beach - theiir mother probably on a foraging trip at sea. During this time, the baby seal is vulnerable to attacks from black-back jackals or brown hyenas.
