Awakening is contemporary eagle abstract created by digital artist Mike Breau. This elegant and simplistic creation utilizes red, white and blue to represent our national colors; and further depicts unity and all it stands for. The rising eagle represents the power to overcome. Though this piece was created for self-fulfillment, it is now destined to aid in fund raising through our local Eagle chapter Aerie # 1248 towards our ongoing efforts against Breast Cancer. The American flag itself was not incorporated in this work. Freedom must become neutral and universal; hopefully our desires for that more worldly solidarity will someday come to be and the colors we use today will symbolically be felt and shared peacefully by all nations tomorrow.
