Description
I taught an art class where I took a print of one of my paintings and cut it into 12 equal rectangles. Each of the students in the class only painted the portion they got. They didn't see the whole painting yet. At the end of the class we put all the pieces (by number) together to see if it looked like the whole. Parts did; parts didn't. But each student had a very interested abstract or semi-abstract individual piece of art. This painting is along those same lines. I painted just a small portion of one of my other works.
