Aspray Series
This series of serene seascapes feature a vibrant sky over water, inspired by the abundant lakes and waterscapes of Michigan. I tried to capture the mesmerizing colors of the last bits of sun as they fall past the horizon and the shimmering glitter it casts along the water, which I created with gold leaf. The sky and water are highlighted with interference metallics that evoke the mesmerizing colors of a rich sky over water.
