Description
Kallstroemia Grandiflora, the Arizona Poppy, is native to the Southwestern United States including Arizona and parts of California. It appears in large showy clusters after summer monsoon rains, turning entire desert hillsides from dusty brown to vibrant shades of orange and green. This cluster was found blooming in the Arizona desert after summer monsoon storms between Goldfield and Saguaro Lake in the Tonto National Forest.
