The Australian Shepherd dogs, or Aussies, are highly energetic and require a lot of exercise and attention. They are reserved and cautious with those they don't know but loving, devoted and loyal to their owners. They are quite attached to their owners and it's a case of where you go they go. If you go upstairs, they follow, and if you go downstairs, they follow. Maya is looking very thoughtful while standing in a field of Devils Paintbrush or Hawkweed and the yellow and orange wildflowers really compliment her coloring.
