I'm a morning person.   I seem to do some of my best work in coffee shops.   I find a comfortable chair and plug in the Mac.   The buzz of coffee in the air provides just enough fragrance and distraction to preclude daydreaming, and just enough energy to free the imagination.   To a large part, the images you see here were created by interaction between geometric shapes and mathematical functions.   I taught math for many years, and much of what I do originated from the computer techniques I used for classroom demonstrations.   I also credit the many...more
