This display of antique stemware was discovered in a general store in Brewster, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I was struck by the reflections and abstract created through the clear glass. This version has been digitally painted for an interesting painterly affect.
Cape Cod is a peninsula in the shape of an arm off the U.S. state of Massachusetts. It is a popular summertime destination for its quaint villages, seafood shacks, lighthouses, freshwater glacier ponds, and bays and beaches. Visitors can board ferries in Hyannis and Harwich Port to cruise over to the Cape islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Cape Cod extends from Provincetown at the northeast tip of the fingers to Woods Hole in the upper arm in the southwest. Chatham is located mid-Cape at the elbow.
