Description
"A Touch of Rose" takes my close-up photograph of a big, beautiful bloom and distills the image down to its essence.... The actual flower that I photographed is a deep red-pink color (you can see it in my image entitled "Passionate") but for this variation, I went for a bright, soft and ethereal look, processing for a high-key effect, playing up subtle shadows and shadings, and leaving only traces of color... the palest of pinks, accented with deeper shades leaning toward lavender. This treatment creates a very different mood...delicate and romantic.
