Description
Bonnie Marie. A Statue's Dilemma! Have you ever felt like life was dumping on you and you could do nothing about it but endure? I started this piece to be serious but the humorous side took over! Even armless statues have their problems... why not us? We complain when things go wrong but are not thankful when they are right and good! We should all be thankful we are not like this statue. We can move and have arms and minds to deal with our issues and God to thank for all! This is all painted digitally with different effects. Paints do not dry up in Photoshop or Illustrator and since I have a 5' x 6' painting almost done in my studio plus 2 more almost or 1/2 done sometimes it is just good to get away from drying paints that turn my hands colors and makes my nose run! This study was a good get a way and I hope it seriously makes you laugh and then think!

Bonnie, I have found there appears to be the seed of its “opposite” in a dual thought pattern like “opinion” which invites judgment, comparison...and the myriad of other tag alongs. I love how you illustrated this ...with a serious intent...turned humorous! I often marveled how Essential philosophies were absurdly found in fortune cookies!
