A Piece of Paradise - Atlantis Resort Nassau Bahamas,
Located on Paradise Island in Nassau Bahamas, I photographed this scene from the infamous beautiful and elegant Atlantis Resort. Though we were unable to see much because we were not guests nor did we pay for an excursion, we did manage to find an outside walk-around balcony to catch this spectacular view of the resorts private beach. I call this "A Piece of Paradise" because we felt like we were in Paradise. On this November warm sunny day, it was quiet, peaceful, tranquil, and absolutely gorgeous! The water was so clear and inviting, we wanted to jump right in.
Unfortunately for visitors, unless you pay heavily for the full excursion, you are very limited to what you can see and experience. This is a good thing for the guests. You are well secured. Apparently a lot of famous people stay here. Michael Jackson was one of them. I can only imagine what the rest of the resort looks like both inside and out. I learned that the famous Bridge Suite is priced at $25,000/night and that it is spectacular!
