Description
Preserved steam locomotive 34092 City Of Wells departs fro Ramsbottom station on the East Lancashire Heritage line in northern England.
Designed by chief mechanical engineer Oliver Bulleid, and operated on the mainlines of southern England.
34092 was withdrawn from service in November 1964 and spent several years decaying in a scrapyard until being rescued by a group of enthusiasts in 1971. After undergoing restoration work until 1979 she was formally returned to service operating on steam heritage lines.
