The Punta Gorda, Florida, Chamber of Commerce is housed in a historic old home built in the 1800s and relocated to its current location near Charlotte Harbor. Many of the rooms are decorated with antiques from that period. In the foyer this display is arranged as if waiting for the lady of the house to gather her purse and gloves to head out for the evening.
