These two trees were on the beautiful Kihei Beach in Maui, Hawaii. This particular area of Maui is quite accustomed to the trade winds that blow each day. As you can see; they lean with the direction the trade winds blow. As for my perspective of Maui, this is probably one of the most beautiful beaches of Maui. I felt this particular quote by Ronald Reagan fit the conflict these trees feel every day.
