Every year, the weekend after Labor Day, the little town of Roann, In a population of less than 500, holds a festival called the Roann Covered Bridge Festival. The bridge was built in 1877 and allowed you to cross the Eel River. This bridge is a historic Howe Truss covered bridge. It is located in Wabash County, Indiana. Built-in 1877 by the Smith Bridge Company of Toledo, Ohio, it measures 288 feet long and is 15 feet, 4 inches wide. The bridge has painted board and batten siding.
