The 4000-foot (1219m) north face of Big Four Mountain, 6160', 1878m, in Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Cascade Mountains, WA. Winter avalanches off of this face create the Rucker Glacier (and Big Four Ice Caves) at an elevation of 2000' (610m), the lowest permanent ice in the Cascade Mountains. Image taken in 4x5 film format February 1978.
