Description

This is a high quality digital painting of a 1965 Ford Galaxy 500XL from my own photography. Finally got a chance to get back into painting after three weeks of work on freelance projects. This Ford Galaxy was just begging for the painterly treatment. The photo was shot in front of the Columbia Center at the "Troy Traffic Jam" in 2012. Sometimes a tree creates a wonderful pattern on the sheet metal. The square boxy shape created a dramatic contrast to the deep morning shadows.
