Salem is Bewitched by Samantha Stevens better known as Elizabeth Montgomery of the 70s TV show "Bewitched". The witchy good fun doesn't make all the people of Salem happy. Some feel it makes light of the tragedy of 1692 and some don't care for the tourists who come to see her statue. For me who grew up watching her on tv in the 70s. I take it in stride and tell people where to find her.
